Bitcoin in the News : 2023-11 Price
In last month's price chart, Bitcoin in the News : 2023-10 Price (November 2023), I noted a few anomalies and asked,
What will next month bring?
This month being last month's next month, I can answer that question. (1) On the chart's data, the reduced granularity remains. (2) The volume data for the second week of November is missing completely; I see the same thing happened near the end of last month.
I'll ask the same question: What will next month bring?

Bitcoin in the News : 2023-10 Price
In last month's price post, Bitcoin in the News : 2023-09 Price (October 2023), I encountered a problem that can be summarized as:-
The light gray text near the center of the chart says, 'No Results'.
This month the results are again available, but there is at least one change. The granularity of the volumes is now one day instead of of whatever it was previously (six hours?).
Bitcoin in the News : 2023-08 Price
As for the data from last month, it is still missing. There is a big gap in October when selecting the FROM-TO dates for the chart. What will next month bring?

Bitcoin in the News : 2023-09 Price
The light gray text near the center of the chart says, 'No Results'. I tried checking the four different price sources on the second line of the chart, plus various combinations of them, and received the same message every time.
A few other changes are worth noting. This is the first time since Bitcoin in the News : 2023-01 Price (February 2023) that the chart has listed more sources than Coinbase and Kraken. It is also the first time that Binance has been included in the sources since Bitcoin in the News : 2019-07 Price (August 2019).
The URL, which points to 'Bitcoin Price Index', has been in use since the '2017-01 Price' post. It now redirects to a URL that has dropped the last word 'Index', as in 'Bitcoin Price', although the top line of the page still says, 'Bitcoin Price Index'. When I first saw the redirected URL at the beginning of the week, the chart was missing completely, replaced by text that I neglected to read. If the price chart isn't restored before the next post on this blog, I'll look for another source for the chart.

Later: First crack at a replacement chart service.
finance.yahoo.com/quote/BTC-USD/chart?p=BTC-USD
Yahoo.com is the same service I used in the early days of this blog. See, for example, Bitcoin in the News : 2016-12 Price (January 2017). At that time I wrote,
Like so many Yahoo services, the charting service I used for that post has declined in quality.
Nearly seven years later, the service is still available. Beggars can't be choosers, but I'll continue exploring the options for next month's post.

NB: Normally I create posts on this blog twice a month, the dates always corresponding to the first two Saturdays of the month. Since the first Saturday only falls on the first of the month one time in seven, I set the date range from the first day of the previous month to the first day of the current month, then make the chart.
This month, due to circumstances beyond my control, this post is actually being written two weeks after the date of the post. When I tried to set the end date for the chart to 1 May, I discovered an anomaly -- the end date can't be set back more than a week. What to do? I created the chart according to the new constraint and added the red line to mark the first day of May.
Also worth noting: In last month's post I wrote,
The Cointelegraph logo is missing from the upper right corner of the chart. Is this an error or intentional? We'll find out next month.
It's apparently intentional.

NB: Comparing this month's price chart to last month's Bitcoin in the News : 2023-02 Price, reveals that the Cointelegraph logo is missing from the upper right corner of the chart. Is this an error or intentional? We'll find out next month.

Bitcoin in the News : 2022 Full Year & 2022-12 More++
The first half of the post will be the annual composite chart showing the bitcoin price charts for all 12 previous months. The numbers are too small to read, but the year started with the price around $47.000 and ended at a little over $16.500.
It takes a lot of down months to lose almost two-thirds of value. It looks to me like six months were downers (Jan, Apr, May, Jun, Aug, Nov), three were uppers (Feb, Jul, Oct), and the other three were basically flat.

The second half of the post will be the usual '[TBD]', i.e. 'To Be Done', which isn't going to happen anytime soon. To repeat last year's 'Full Year' post:-
Q: Where to go with this blog? The last real post was 'The Halving' (May 2020). Since then I've been marking time with '[TBD]' posts. A: After marking time for another year, I'll continue doing so for the time being. It forces me to pay attention to the crypto sector.
Copy that for 2023.
